What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

Applying your combined passion for people and admin working together with diplomats and assisting with general consular services, corresponding with international clients and stakeholders via email, phone as well as in person. Using your exceptional organizational and administrative strengths to support the Head of Regional Consular Centre and team to co-ordinate meetings with other embassies, local authorities and business trips.

Where you’ll be doing it

In the offices and a small, international and inclusive working environment within one of the diplomatic organisations based in Brooklyn, Pretoria.

 

What you’ll need

You do need to be professionally fluent in English as well as German and/or French and have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar administrative  environment.

It is important that you are a level headed quick-learner with attention to detail and accuracy. Discretion is the name of the game. Working in a diverse environment, you do need to be a focussed and results oriented team-player with the ability to learn and adjust to change. Your relevant background in administration/secretarial work, analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as an inquisitive personality will work in your benefit.

 

What you’ll get

This is a part-time position with 20 working hours per week which you have some flexibility structuring to mornings and some afternoons, according to your needs. It is an attractive package for this role, including benefits such as medical aid contributions, pension fund as well as 20 days annual leave.
