This is a 3 year project so you’ll be on contract for a 3 year duration.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this multifaceted role, you’ll manage cash operations and accounting across a pan-African cultural programme. You’ll organise payments, track advances, monitor liquidity, and ensure accurate financial documentation. Working across project locations, you’ll validate invoices, maintain creditor data, handle online payments in Euro and local currencies, and coordinate with banks. You’ll also support monthly/year-end closings, audits, travel reimbursements, and help digitise and streamline internal processes.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join an internationally renowned cultural institute, offices are based in Parktown, Gauteng. This is a new division starting up due to the new projects. You’ll be part of a passionate organisation committed to meaningful cultural exchange and impact. It’s a an in office role with a one day work from home after probation. Hours are 9am to 6pm and Friday’s ending at 14:30.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring your financial experience along with strong numeracy, and an advanced grasp of Excel. You should have at least B2-level German but able to converse easily in German and read and understand documentation. An aptitude for navigating complex administrative systems is key, along with a structured, accurate, and independent working style. A valid South African work permit or SA Citizenship is essential.
