Lead the Future of Renewable Energy – Your Next Big Move in Utility-Scale Solar Projects

Is this you?

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for renewable energy, especially solar. You have a proven track record of successfully delivering utility-scale solar projects, particularly in the wheeling sector. You thrive in leadership roles and enjoy guiding a team to achieve common goals. Negotiating with stakeholders, navigating complex regulatory environments, and staying ahead of industry trends is second nature to you. With excellent communication and relationship-building skills, you know how to inspire confidence in clients, landowners, and your internal teams.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be leading the development of utility-scale solar projects, with a focus on wheeling. From site identification and land acquisition to securing permits and financing, you’ll take charge of the entire project development process. You’ll be working closely with internal teams across engineering, finance, legal, and regulatory affairs to assess risks and optimize project designs. Alongside your team of project developers and coordinators, you’ll ensure that each project aligns with company goals, budget, and timelines. A key part of your role will be negotiating power purchase agreements and securing contracts with utilities and corporate buyers. You’ll also be involved in driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance project delivery.

Where you’ll be doing it

Their company culture is built on a commitment to sustainability and innovation, offering a collaborative and inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated.

What you’ll need

You’ll need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or business administration (a master’s degree or certification in renewable energy is a plus). With a minimum of 3 years of experience in utility-scale solar project development, you have hands-on experience in the wheeling sector and understand its regulations and market dynamics. You’re a natural leader with the ability to manage teams, assess risks, and drive successful project outcomes. Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in project management tools and financial modelling software will also set you apart.

What you’ll get

A competitive salary, plus performance-based incentives. You’ll be joining a fast-growing company at the forefront of renewable energy, offering opportunities for professional development and career advancement. In this dynamic environment, your contributions will be valued, and you’ll play a key role in building a more sustainable future.
