What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll be responsible for the full end-to-end fund accounting and administration process for alternative investment structures, including hedge funds and private equity. From daily reconciliations to NAV calculations, investor reporting, and fee calculations, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and quality. You’ll work closely with Fund Managers and serve as a key liaison on daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables. You’ll also take ownership of assigned funds, adapt to evolving systems, and support your team where needed, all while growing your expertise in a dynamic and expanding sector.

What you’ll need
You’ll bring a relevant postgraduate financial qualification (BCom Accounting, Commerce, or Finance) along with 2–3 years’ experience in fund accounting. Strong Excel skills are essential, and prior experience with investment accounting platforms will set you apart. A good understanding of hedge fund structures and daily NAV processes is crucial. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
