What you’ll need
A completed BCom degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field is essential. Please note that a BTech qualification will not be considered. Alongside strong academics, you’ll have at least 5 years of proven HR generalist experience with exposure across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, compliance, Skills Development and Employment Equity.
A solid understanding of South African labour legislation, particularly the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), is required, together with knowledge of MEIBC requirements and HR best practices. Strong computer literacy is essential, and you’ll be comfortable using HR systems, digital tools and AI-powered technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who has demonstrated stability throughout their career. A consistent employment history with limited job-hopping will be highly advantageous. Your academic transcripts and full academic record will be requested as part of the selection process.
