Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 CTC per month

You are a meticulous and skilled Installation Electrician who excels in wiring and installations. With a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols, you can work with precision, whether interpreting blueprints or wiring intricate electrical components. You are client-focused, detail-oriented, and adept at ensuring that every installation meets high safety and quality standards. Your solid communication skills allow you to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, wiring, and connection of electrical systems in buildings, including lighting, power outlets, and other essential electrical appliances. You’ll interpret technical drawings and ensure that all installations meet national electrical standards. Alongside compliance and testing duties, you’ll conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs or maintenance. You’ll follow strict safety protocols and manage risk effectively, all while communicating with clients, offering advice on upgrades, and addressing any concerns they may have. You’ll also assist with planning and monitoring, ensuring projects are completed to high-quality standards.
Where you’ll be doing it

You will be required to visit sites frequently within the Western Cape.
What you’ll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a Matric certificate along with a valid Installation Electrician Licence (non-negotiable). A National Diploma in Electrical Engineering is advantageous but not required. You must have at least 5 years of post-licence experience, along with a Code EB Driver’s Licence. Your experience with electrical installations, risk management, and adherence to national electrical standards will be critical to your success.
