You’re an experienced Investment Administrator with a flair for client service and you have a keen eye for detail. You excel in managing complex administrative tasks and handling high-pressure situations while ensuring the highest level of client service.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of managing new client investment accounts in South Africa and Switzerland, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. Your responsibilities will include handling client interactions, managing mandates and paperwork for both local and offshore accounts, and reconciling holdings. Your role will also involve facilitating payment requests, managing tax reporting and resolving client queries with a meticulous approach to detail.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be joining a boutique asset manager with a solid track record in the global markets space. They pride themselves in the construction of specialized investment solutions and portfolios for private individuals, family offices, corporate entities, trusts, and institutions. This is achieved through active asset allocation and discretionary portfolio management. You’ll be fully office based in beautiful offices in Newlands, Cape Town. What you’ll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least 5 years of working experience in a client service and investment admin role gained within a private client investment environment or asset manager. You need to have a strong grasp of FICA requirements for South African accounts and be familiar with the KYC process for offshore accounts. Good Excel skills, the ability to multi-task effectively, and excellent presentation and communication skills are a must as you will be dealing directly with clients. With the role being fully based, they will only consider candidates living in the southern suburbs or CBD of Cape Town.
