In this role, you will work closely with the Contract Management team, attending site progress meetings and participating in weekly commercial meetings. You will be responsible for tasks such as taking meeting minutes, validating payment applications, and assisting with contingency usage. You’ll also verify supplier invoices, prepare payment certificates, draft contractual correspondence, and manage change control procedures. Additionally, you will assist with contract reviews, updating project budgets, and maintaining various registers. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth operation of the project’s commercial processes, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in impactful, first-of-a-kind renewable energy projects across Africa.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc. Eng (Honours) / B-Tech. Eng. (Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent, a BSc Honours / Btech in Quantity Surveying, or a Bcom Law/LLB (with construction knowledge and experience considered). You should have 1-3 years of relevant experience, with strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in a construction environment is a plus. A demonstrated ability to work in a team and adapt quickly to new environments will be essential for success in this role.
