What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be leading and motivating a high-performing reservations team, ensuring seamless and personalised service for travel trade partners. You’ll oversee the team’s structure, training, and development to maintain operational excellence. Your role will involve managing reservation systems, troubleshooting issues, and optimising inventory to maximise revenue. You’ll also work closely with sales teams, lodges, and IT specialists to streamline processes and improve service efficiency. In addition, you’ll analyse reports and provide valuable insights to support revenue growth and business strategies.

This role is office based in Claremont, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and we’re looking for someone who’s happy to take the odd call after hours for emergencies.

What you’ll need

You’ll need a Matric Certificate with at least 3 years of experience managing a team in a high end establishment in a reservations, hospitality, or travel environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team are essential. You need to be highly organised with a keen eye for detail. A deep understanding of reservation systems, revenue management, and high end customer service is crucial. You’ll also need to be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit.
