In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing overhead power lines from 11 kV to over 400 kV. Using PLS-CADD, you’ll develop profiles, design monopole structures, and collaborate on utility strengthening projects across Africa. You’ll manage key aspects of engineering design, from compiling Bills of Materials to performing detailed calculations. You’ll also be part of an innovative team that’s shaping renewable energy connections and ensuring grid stability, all while expanding your skillset in advanced engineering tools.

You’ll need a B.Eng, B.Sc, or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in overhead line design at voltages up to 400 kV. Proficiency in PLS-CADD and solid skills in Excel and Word are essential. Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD is beneficial, along with a broad understanding of electrical engineering principles. Knowledge of additional engineering software and languages will be a plus.
