What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this role, you’ll lead and support a variety of system modelling studies, including Grid Code compliance, transmission planning, and insulation coordination. You’ll have the chance to work on cutting-edge renewable technologies like wind, solar, and storage. You’ll develop best practices for power systems studies, provide technical reviews, and present recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions are delivered.

What you’ll need

You’ll need a degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on power systems studies. With 3-7 years of experience, you’re proficient in EMT simulation and network software like PowerFactory, ETAP, or PSCAD. Experience with Python programming and software like PowerWorld or EMTP RV is a plus. Professional registration with ECSA is also advantageous.
