If cost, quality and deadlines collide, then your judgement keeps complex projects moving.

Is this you?

Complex engineering projects bring out your best. You plan carefully, communicate clearly and remain composed when schedules, budgets or risks shift. Taking ownership comes naturally, as does coordinating different disciplines and holding people accountable without losing sight of client expectations.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You will coordinate internal teams, clients, engineers, technicians and suppliers while tracking progress in Microsoft Project. The work also covers quality interventions, technical documentation, procurement, onsite installation support and clear stakeholder reporting.

Where you’ll be doing it

Within a head office projects department in the process plant engineering industry, the focus is on delivering technically sound work to customer specifications. You will report to a senior projects leader, guide junior project and document control colleagues, and work closely with fabrication, installation and supplier stakeholders.

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Management or a related field, or a technical diploma or degree in Project Management, is required. Bring three to five years’ relevant experience and proven ability to manage resources, people, costs and risk. Knowledge of engineering and process plant environments, contractual law, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and ISO 9001. 2015 requirements is essential.

What you’ll get

The scope to influence the full project lifecycle, from commercial planning and supplier coordination to quality assurance and onsite delivery. You will deepen your expertise across multidisciplinary engineering projects while leading a direct support team and maintaining visible ownership of schedule, budget, quality and client satisfaction.
