Repairs Administrator (Solution Engineering)

Location: Roodepoort

Salary: Market related

Be the vital link between technical operations and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Is this you?

You’re an organised and proactive administrator with a natural sales flair and a cool head under pressure. Thriving in a busy environment, you’re resilient, focused, and not easily flustered. You know how to take initiative, work independently, and handle feedback constructively. You’re just as comfortable following instructions as you are collaborating with multiple departments. With strong interpersonal skills and a service-first mindset, you enjoy delivering operational support and managing customer needs with professionalism and clarity.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be the go-to person ensuring all repair processes run smoothly – from scanning job packs and managing quotations, to overseeing invoicing and budgeting. You’ll interact directly with customers, contractors, and internal teams, handling repair queries, maintenance coordination, and supplier performance tracking. Your day will include everything from managing work orders and supporting planned repairs, to conducting customer satisfaction surveys and providing actionable insights to enhance service quality. Your role will be essential in maintaining a high standard of customer care and supporting the success of the after-sales team.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be part of a respected organisation within the engineering and industrial solutions sector. Known for delivering innovative air and gas handling systems, our client values professionalism, precision, and performance. With a strong presence in South Africa and a culture built around collaboration and continuous improvement, you’ll work with a team that supports your growth and values your contribution.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring at least three years’ administrative experience and a Matric Certificate, with a business administration qualification as a bonus. Experience in an engineering environment – ideally air and gas solutions – would be highly beneficial. You’ll be tech-savvy, with strong knowledge of MS Office, Teams, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Syspro. A confident communicator with a sales-minded approach, you’ll be able to analyse data, provide insights, and balance multiple demands while keeping calm and on track. Bilingual proficiency and strong people skills will round out your profile.

What you’ll get

A supportive and professional work environment, competitive remuneration, and the opportunity to work for an international company committed to innovation and service excellence. You’ll also enjoy a healthy work/life balance and opportunities for career development.
