What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

Your time will be split between supporting the sales administration function and taking ownership of marketing activities. On the sales side, you’ll assist with customer communication, compiling reports, preparing quotes, processing orders, managing invoices and delivery notes, liaising with suppliers, assisting with stock planning and ensuring deadlines are met. Marketing will form part of your role, where you’ll manage social media, coordinate with the external website provider and potentially take over the website in time. While the core of the role remains sales administration, you’ll be responsible for the company’s marketing presence and will have the freedom to learn and grow it.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be joining a well-established, respected company with a solid market presence. The office is based in Paarden Eiland, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30, in a fully office-based role.

What you’ll need

Matric is essential, along with solid sales administrative experience, ideally within sales support. If you have some marketing experience that will be a preference. Strong computer literacy is required and having worked on financial software is needed (Pastel advantageous). You don’t need formal marketing experience, but you must be comfortable using social media platforms and willing to take initiative and teach yourself. A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership are key.
