You’re a dynamic and relationship-driven Key Accounts Manager with a flair for the cosmetics or FMCG industry. Your communication and negotiation skills are top-tier, and you’re passionate about working closely with major retail partners like Dis-Chem. You thrive on understanding your client’s unique needs and crafting strategies that add value on both sides. You’re analytical, independent, highly organised, and most importantly, you love being at the centre of it all – connecting departments, solving challenges, and keeping your finger on the pulse of market trends.
You’ll manage key retail accounts – especially Dis-Chem – developing strategic plans tailored to each client while driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate across departments from operations to finance, ensuring client needs are met smoothly and proactively. You’ll dive into market analysis, coordinate events and promotions, monitor account performance, and take the lead on contract and compliance matters. You’ll need proven experience as a Key Account Manager within cosmetics and prior exposure to Dis-Chem as a client is essential. You’ll bring excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as a solid grasp of sales principles and CRM. Proficiency in SAP would be a bonus. Would be great if you had a related degree but the experience is most important along with a Matric qualification. You will need to have a valid drivers licence and your own car.
