You thrive in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams, and your work ethic is matched only by your attention to detail. Logical thinking, tenacity, and an ability to work under pressure are second nature to you. You’re a confident communicator, fluent in English, with a passion for engineering excellence.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

As a key player in a technically driven team, you’ll design facilities and mechanical services (including steam, water, HVAC, compressed air), contribute to MEP layouts, and manage large-scale projects across industries, especially FMCG. Your role will span feasibility studies, costing, AutoCAD 2D draughting, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. You’ll contribute to the design of utilities, mechanical structures, and potentially fire and building systems. From proposals to project delivery, you’ll take ownership in a team that values innovation, professionalism, and precision.

Where you’ll be doing it

Our client is a proudly South African engineering consultancy known for delivering innovative, cost-effective manufacturing and facility design solutions. You’ll work alongside industry veterans in a tech-enabled, modern workspace that encourages both growth and flexibility.

What you’ll need

A BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and strong experience with facility layout, utilities, MEP systems, and mechanical structures. You’ll be proficient in AutoCAD 2D, MS Projects, and Microsoft 365. Previous experience in manufacturing, factory design, or process engineering is highly advantageous. You’ll need a valid SA ID or work permit, a driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, and a readiness to travel when required.

What you’ll get

A forward-thinking, flexitime work culture, access to cutting-edge tech, and opportunities to work on a variety of exciting projects. With strong leadership, room for growth, and meaningful learning opportunities, this is a chance to be part of a fast-growing team making real engineering impact.
