You are a strategic and self-motivated project development professional with a strong sense of accountability and a structured approach to delivery. With solid commercial experience and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, you are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from landowners to investors.
You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of multiple wind, solar, and hybrid renewable energy projects. This includes site identification using GIS tools, plant layout development, land acquisition negotiations, budgeting, permitting, and supporting financial close. You will coordinate internal and external teams, lead stakeholder engagement processes, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your role will also involve supporting tender submissions and contributing to broader strategic development objectives across the continent.

You hold a degree in Engineering, Business, Natural Sciences, or a related discipline, and have a minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in renewable energy project development. Your background includes project management, stakeholder engagement, permitting processes, and commercial negotiations, ideally within REIPPPP or a comparable environment. A valid South African Code 08 driver’s licence is essential, and familiarity with financial modelling, land agreements, and environmental approvals will be advantageous.
