What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

In this exciting role, you’ll oversee all technical aspects of Solar PV construction projects. From managing subcontractors and technicians to ensuring that quality control and health and safety measures are met, you’ll have the opportunity to lead large-scale solar installations. You’ll be hands-on, assisting with designs and providing solutions when required, as well as ensuring projects adhere to ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, making sure that construction stays on track and learning from each project to improve processes for future work.

What you’ll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a minimum electrical qualification with a wireman’s license. You must have experience in managing large-scale solar installations and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team are essential. Your experience with construction management, as well as understanding health and safety protocols, will set you up for success.
