Is this you?

You have experience within imports, freight forwarding and procurement administration and understand the importance of forecasting, shipment tracking and keeping supply flowing. You’re confident communicating with suppliers, enjoy building relationships and take ownership of your work.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll take ownership of the administration and coordination of your allocated import shipments, from forecasting and planning through to placing SAP orders, tracking ETAs, resolving supplier delays and ensuring products are accurately received into the system. Working closely with the Head of Department, you’ll support procurement activities, manage freight forwarders, assist with landed costing checks and become involved in sourcing local suppliers for special projects or urgent requirements when needed. You’ll enjoy this role because it offers plenty of variety, exposure to international supply chains and the opportunity to make a real impact on operational efficiency.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a growing international FMCG business recognised for its innovative products, entrepreneurial culture and continued global expansion. Collaboration is encouraged, development is genuinely supported and the local team enjoys a positive, fast-moving environment where everyone contributes. Based in beautiful new offices in Observatory, this is a Monday to Friday position with one work-from-home day after probation and slightly flexible working hours.

What you’ll need

Matric is essential, together with experience in imports, freight forwarding and some procurement. You’ll need exposure to forecasting using any forecasting system, experience with sea and air freight imports, shipment clearing processes and landed costing. Experience coordinating multiple SKUs, strong Excel skills and excellent organisational ability are important, while SAP and FMCG exposure would be advantageous. A proactive attitude, commercial thinking and strong attention to detail will set you apart.

What you’ll get

Based in stunning new offices with a dedicated lunch room where a delicious lunch is served daily, along with fresh fruit and breakfast options. You’ll receive a basic salary, medical insurance and pension after six months, plus an enjoyable lifestyle perk including monthly chiropractor visits.
