What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You will be the driving force behind our client’s workforce strategy. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our offshore engineering and marine resources projects are equipped with the right talent to succeed. You’ll develop and execute workforce planning strategies, analyze market trends, and forecast resource requirements.

Your role will include managing the full recruitment process, optimizing contractor utilization, and leading a talented team responsible for talent management and crew coordination. Moreover, you’ll champion initiatives that enhance team capabilities, ensuring that our workforce is prepared to tackle complex and high-impact projects. The business is growing and they have expansion plans so this is a critical role to take them to the next level!

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking and innovative company that operates in the offshore engineering and marine resources sector. You’ll join a great team of professionals who value integrity, dedication and accountability. There will be some hybrid working once probation is done, two days a week from home.

 

What you’ll need

You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Experience in workforce planning, resource management, or a related role is essential, ideally within the offshore engineering and marine resources sector. You’ll also need a proven track record in talent management, strong business acumen, and experience leading a team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with an analytical mindset, are crucial for success. Proficiency in workforce planning or HR software and tools would be advantageous.
