What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be on the frontlines of sustainability, supporting the installation, servicing, and maintenance of smart water and energy systems. Working mostly on commercial sites, you’ll assist in setting up and maintaining technical equipment, troubleshoot under guidance, and ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently. Expect hands-on variety, travel across South Africa, and the satisfaction of seeing real-world impact from your efforts.

What you’ll need

You’ll bring at least two years of hands-on experience in a technical, installation, or maintenance role, ideally as an installer or electrician. A relevant vocational certification (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or mechanical) is essential, along with a valid South African driver’s licence (own vehicle a plus). You’ll need to be fluent in Afrikaans and English, and comfortable with basic IT tools and mobile apps.
