You thrive on understanding complex operational challenges and delivering practical, compliant engineering strategies. You’re equally comfortable in a boardroom or on-site, and your ability to navigate cross-cultural environments makes you a trusted advisor across the African region.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll play a strategic role in developing opportunities for crane services and modification projects, working across Africa to bring real value to client assets. From leading proposal development to advising on lifecycle extension strategies, your days will be varied and impactful. You’ll represent a globally respected brand, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and influence asset integrity solutions from early-stage engagement through execution. You’ll also support the creation of technical content, market insights, and risk assessments, all while aligning with world-class HSEQ standards.

You’ll join a global engineering group with over two decades of experience across oil and gas, renewables, marine, and infrastructure. Operating in 30+ countries and supporting over 750 assets, this organisation is known for its innovative, sustainable solutions and strong HSEQ culture. The African arm is expanding rapidly, backed by strategic global expertise and a reputation for technical excellence and partnership-led delivery.

What you’ll need

You hold a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with at least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector—specifically in crane services and modifications. Cranes experience is essential in this role. You’re well-versed in industry standards like API, ASME, ISO, DNV, and ABS.
