Are you a skilled and passionate Solar Engineer with a knack for problem-solving and a drive to innovate? Do you excel in providing technical support, training, and customised solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers? If so, our client wants you as part of their dynamic team!

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

As a Solar Engineer, you will be responsible for providing optimised solutions and proposals for C&I customers, performing simple designs of PV systems, and offering technical support and training to the sales team. You will monitor system performance, conduct regular inspections, and ensure the long-term reliability and safety of HV system installations. Collaborating with engineers in China, you will customise high voltage battery solutions for local clients and keep the management informed of market trends and advanced product features of competitors. Additionally, you will provide pre-sale training and after-sales support to our residential and commercial customers, and inspect and authorise RMA.

What you’ll need

To excel in this role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and relevant certifications in solar energy or related areas. You should have at least 3 years of experience as a solar engineer in the renewable energy industry, with a preference for experience in utility-scaled projects. Proficiency in PV design and electrical design, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively, will set you apart. Public speaking skills and the ability to perform simple repairs and troubleshoot system faults are also required.
