What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

Managing a portfolio of individual tax clients, you’ll take responsibility for completing and submitting tax returns, reviewing assessments, responding to SARS queries and handling disputes and appeals where required. You’ll also assist with tax clearances, residency matters and technical tax research while working closely with Directors and Managers on a range of client matters. You’ll enjoy this role because it offers the perfect blend of technical tax work, client interaction and problem-solving, allowing you to continuously develop your expertise while making a real impact on your clients’ financial wellbeing.

The offices are based in Randburg and after probation, there is four days work from home, one day in office.

What you’ll need

A Tax Certificate or Diploma coupled with at least five years’ experience within individual tax compliance is essential. Exposure to expatriate taxation is required, while experience with deceased estates and Tax Practitioner registration would be advantageous. Strong working knowledge of tax legislation, excellent administration skills and the ability to manage deadlines without compromising quality will set you apart. Experience with GreatSoft and iManage would be beneficial.
