Office Co-ordinator (Financial Services)

Location: Plattekloof, Cape Town

Salary: Market related

You’re happiest when everything runs smoothly and you love being the person who makes it happen.

Is this you?

You’re the kind of person who takes pride in creating order, building relationships and making things happen behind the scenes. Highly organised and naturally welcoming, you enjoy being the person everyone can rely on. You thrive in a positive, drama-free environment, take ownership without needing constant supervision and have the maturity to deal confidently with people at all levels. If you’re someone who notices the details others miss and believes that teamwork really does make the dream work, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

You’ll be the heartbeat of the office, managing the front desk, welcoming clients and business partners, coordinating travel arrangements, overseeing facilities, handling onboarding and offboarding, organising meetings and events, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day. You’ll also support the finance team with invoice capturing and commission schedules while keeping office operations on track. You’ll enjoy this role because no two days are the same and your contribution will have a visible impact across the entire business.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a fast-growing financial services business that has built a reputation for excellence while maintaining a refreshingly down-to-earth culture. The environment is collaborative, inclusive and free from office politics, with a genuine focus on teamwork and mutual respect. Despite significant growth, the business has retained a close-knit feel where everyone rolls up their sleeves, supports one another and celebrates success together. It’s an in office role with after probation, one day work from home. Office hours are 8:00 – 16:30. The office is in Plattekloof.

What you’ll need

A minimum of three years’ experience in a front office or office administration role is essential. Strong Excel and computer are required, along with excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail. You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities, communicating professionally and working independently. Exposure to Xero or the financial services industry would be advantageous but is not essential. You need to have corporate office working experience.

What you’ll get

Along with a basic salary and provident fund and risk benefit, you’ll receive 21 days’ annual leave, a dedicated parking bay, catered lunches four days a week and access to regular social events.
