Supply Chain Manager (manufacturing)

Location: Boksburg

Salary: Market related

Great supply chains don’t happen by chance. This is your chance to build the control, flow and foresight behind them.

Is this you?

You’re analytical, organised and commercially minded, with a steady hand when managing moving parts. Numbers, stock levels, suppliers, deadlines and systems all make sense to you, and you’re trusted because you’re reliable, practical and clear in how you communicate.

What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

Taking ownership of procurement, inventory, warehouse controls and logistics, you’ll ensure stock is available, costs are managed and supply risks are reduced. From forecasting demand and analysing data to negotiating supplier deals, tracking performance metrics and reporting to management, your work will directly influence efficiency and profitability. You’ll enjoy this because it gives you the chance to combine strategy with hands-on operational impact.

Where you’ll be doing it

You’ll join a fast-moving FMCG or manufacturing environment where supply chain efficiency is central to business success. This is a structured, performance-focused setting where strong controls, smart purchasing decisions and reliable supplier partnerships make a measurable difference every day.

What you’ll need

A relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or Purchasing is essential, along with at least 5 years’ experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of forecasting, data analysis, inventory control and ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP or Syspro will be important, as will sound mathematical ability, planning skills and confident stakeholder communication.

What you’ll get

An opportunity to step into a key supply chain leadership role where your decisions will influence cost savings, stock availability, supplier performance and operational effectiveness. Salary and benefits will be discussed during the process.
