You’ll lead grid compliance studies, substation design, feasibility analyses, and technical evaluations for project development. You’ll engage with utilities, consultants, and internal teams, ensuring projects meet grid code requirements and are optimally designed for integration. Your expertise will be critical in overseeing SCADA and RTU interface designs, protection coordination, power factor control, transient analysis, and grounding strategies. You’ll also contribute to contract reviews, tender processes, and strategic grid connection solutions to support the company’s ambitious growth in the renewables sector.

You should have in-depth knowledge of grid codes, compliance processes, substation design, load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination. Experience in liaising with utilities, managing permitting processes, and leading complex grid connection projects is essential. Strong communication skills, decision-making ability, and a results-driven approach will set you apart.

What you’ll get

Along with this opportunity to lead game-changing renewable energy projects and make a lasting impact in the industry, you’ll receive a competitive market-related salary, performance-based bonus, and pension/medical aid contributions.
