It’s not always necessary to keep interviewing once you’ve accepted an offer.
I often see candidates continue taking interviews “just in case” or because they’ve heard it’s good practice to keep their options open until they actually start their new role.
And while interviewing is valuable when you’re genuinely exploring your options, accepting an offer means you’ve made a decision.
You’ve chosen the opportunity, and the company has chosen you.
They’re preparing for your arrival and, in most cases, have stopped looking for someone else.
Of course, circumstances can change, and there may be genuine reasons to reconsider.
But continuing to interview simply because something better might come along can create unnecessary uncertainty around a decision you were happy with in the first place.
If you’re still unsure enough to keep looking, it may be worth asking whether you were ready to accept the offer at all.
But if you’ve done your homework, asked the right questions and accepted a role you’re excited about, sometimes the best move is to back yourself and give your new opportunity your full attention.
